CANADA'S HIDDEN PRAIRIES: Protecting and Restoring Ontario’s Grasslands
Dan Kraus

Dan Kraus, Manager of Conservation Science and Planning at the Nature Conservancy of Canada, will share the science and stories of Ontario’s grassland habitats. From tallgrass prairies and savannahs to alvars and rock barrens, grasslands are one of the world’s most endangered ecosystems. Dan will provide an overview of the conservation status and needs of Ontario’s vanishing grassland habitats and species
